Protected by the Apennine hills, watched over by the Circeo promontory, and caressed by the Mediterranean Sea, the Agro Pontino is a magnificent land where animals enjoy the ideal conditions to produce milk that is wholesome, safe, and full of flavour. This territory, reclaimed in the 1930s, has been our home ever since — a land we cherish and protect, and that rewards us every day with the finest raw materials.
For decades, we have been a point of reference for over 300 farming families located just a few kilometers from our facilities. An example of a short supply chain that results in a daily exchange, ensuring only the best raw materials while respecting the welfare of the animals from which they come.
A commitment that continues and is crowned with the 2022-2026 Plan, where sustainability is the key element, the cornerstone of the 5 Francia Rules, inspiring investments and the positioning of our products.
With the dual goal of pursuing a zero-waste economic model and achieving energy independence based solely on the use of renewable sources.
There are still many products, especially food items, that need to be preserved in plastic. In fact, only this material can ensure impermeability and freshness, keeping the quality and organoleptic properties of entire food supply chains intact.
In the 2020–2021 period, we worked on the rationalization and substantial reduction of plastic material usage, optimizing the sizes of our packaging and the types of materials used.
