1935

TRANSFER TO THE AGRO PONTINO AND PURCHASE OF THE FIRST FARM

Ours is a family story born from an exciting journey that still inspires the company's vision today. A virtuous path that began in 1935 with a pioneering and romantic intuition by Enrico and Olivia Francia, who moved from the Marche region to the newly reclaimed Agro Pontino, purchasing the first farm.
1950

START OF MILK DISTRIBUTION WITH A FIAT 500C VAN

A story of passion that has always looked to the future with the ability to innovate. Like when in 1950, Alceo, the eldest of the Francia brothers, purchased a Fiat 500c van and began supplying fresh milk to dairy companies in the Agro Pontino, quickly becoming one of the major distributors in the area.
1970

OPENING OF THE PRODUCTION PLANT IN PONTINIA

1970 marked a turning point with the opening of the first dairy plant in Pontinia, demonstrating the ambition to become a benchmark in the dairy sector. In just a few years, 40,000 liters of milk were processed daily for the production of various dairy products, such as fiordilatte, ovoline, trecce, bocconcini, ricotta, butter, and cheeses.
1987

OPENING OF THE PRODUCTION PLANT IN SONNINO

Surviving the storm allowed the company to continue its evolutionary process. In 1987, the new Sonnino plant was inaugurated, focusing on cow milk processing. This innovation allowed the company to consolidate its role as a market leader and begin expanding its horizons.
2005

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE FRANCE HOLDING COMPANY

In 2005, we wrote another important chapter in our history with the founding of the Francia Latticini group, headed by Francia Holding SPA, which controls Francia Latticini SPA and Francia ILC, the three companies in a group that now employs around three hundred collaborators and employees.
2020

CREATION OF TWO DAIRY PRODUCER CONSORTIA FOR COW AND BUFALA MILK

With the goal of protecting and promoting the richness of local production, we launched an ambitious project: the creation of consortia connected to the dairy supply chains for cow and buffalo products, representing and supporting local producers, ensuring efficient resource management, and continuously improving quality. Safeguarding local production means preserving the social value of rural communities, protecting biodiversity, and the environment around us.
2022

INVESTMENTS IN ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND MEDITERRANEAN BUFALA HERD

In a rapidly changing world, we believe that innovation is not an option, but a necessity. We invested in Bufala Livestock Farming, developing a business model based on the principles of the circular economy, which led to the creation of an Animal Welfare Policy. This approach, in addition to improving the efficiency and sustainability of our operations, places animal welfare at the heart of our strategy, inspiring the entire supply chain to follow us on this virtuous path.
2022

OPENING OF THE PHOTOVOLTAIC PLANT AT THE SONNINO FACILITY

Our commitment to sustainability translates into the desire to achieve 100% energy independence. Through constant research for excellence, the use of cutting-edge technologies, and minimizing waste, we aim to do our part in ensuring the high quality of our products and a planet to preserve for future generations.
2023

OPENING OF THE LOGISTICS HUB IN ROME AT COMMERCITY

The ability to deliver products quickly, efficiently, and reliably makes a difference. Having the logistics hub in the capital is not only a strategic choice but an added value in terms of total control over the supply chain, reducing operational costs, flexibility, adaptability to a constantly changing market, real-time tracking, and monitoring, as well as reducing the environmental impact.
2024

OPENING OF THE BURRATA AND STRACCIATELLA PLANT

A new chapter in a story focused on authentic taste. At the Sonnino plant, Burrata and Stracciatella are prepared daily using only the freshest milk and cream, strictly 100% Italian. The experience of our master cheesemakers and the use of state-of-the-art machinery ensure careful processing that respects the ingredients, preserving the authentic flavors that have always characterized our products.

THE RESILIENCE FACTOR OF AN ITALIAN COMPANY
APPRECIATED WORLDWIDE

Year after year, we have structured ourselves with a business management model focused on continuity and foresight, which, thanks to new impulses, remains a benchmark and an inspiration in the landscape of large Italian companies open to the international market.

We face the challenges of an increasingly competitive market, where we stand out for the quality of our products, always fresh and genuine, the service, thanks to a widespread and efficient logistics system dedicated to the retail sector, innovation, and sustainability.
Because, yesterday as today, the attention to the environment that saw us born and grow represents the starting point of a journey that, step by step, has made us what we are today. Bigger, more recognizable, and resilient.
